ILembe EPC JV – King Shaka International Airport Development Mentorship Programme

Value: R200 Million

ROLE: EMERGING CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION MENTORS

The appointment required the Bhadama Joint Venture led by Mr Sbu Bophela to deliver support services to 12 emerging contractors undertaking approximately R200 Million of construction work on the airport construction and enabling successful completion of their contracts. Service delivered in 2008/9.

Independent Development Trust – Msinga Fencing Programme

Programme Value: R2,9 Million

ROLE: CLUSTER MANAGERS

The programme involved fencing of 8 schools in the Msinga area. The contract was successfully completed within the projected 4 months period in 2012.

Independent Development Trust - Curriculum Upgrades Programme: Phase 2 Programme

Value: R75 Million


ROLE: CLUSTER MANAGERS

The project involved upgrades to 13 schools to provide Laboratories, Computer Rooms, Admin Blocks, Workshops, Media Centres, Consumer Studies and Libraries as support facilities to existing schools in the Amajuba, Zululand and UMzinyathi Education Districts. All thirteen projects were completed in 2013/4.

KZN Sharks Board - Upgrades and Additions to Margate Base Station Project Value: R2.10 Million


ROLE: DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS ( DESIGN & CONSTRUCT)


This Turnkey development involved upgrades and additions to Margate Base Station which entailed the construction of New Staff Quarters, Additions to Boat Garage and Upgrading of the Sewer System. Project was successfully completed in March 2015.

TMTJ Consulting – 2022 Commonwealth Games Candidate City Bid Cluster 4

Value: R400 Million

ROLE: PROJECT COORDINATION (SUB-CONSULTANT TO TMTJ CONSULTANTS)


Project Management and coordination of Professional Services for Cluster 4 involving 8 sporting codes for assessments and cost estimates based on
International Specifications for 2022 CWG Bid. The eThekwini Municipality Bid was officially awarded in September 2015. Programme was split into 4 Clusters

Prasa National Station Improvement Programme : Phase 7 Mentorship Programme

Value: R22 Million

ROLE: EMERGING CONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION MENTORS

The programme involved technical support and coaching of 8 SME contractors appointed for repairs and renovations to 5 Prasa Railway Station Facilities at Umgababa, Crossmoor, Chatsglen, Havenside and Scottburgh - all in KZN. The mentorship support programme was successfully completed in April 2016.

Grasslands Methodist Church, Goqwana - Eastern Cape
Project Value: R2,3 Million


ROLE: PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS


The project involved demolition of an old church building and construction of a new church facility in Goqwana, Eastern Cape for the Methodist Church. The six months project which was funded by a Private Sponsor was successfully handed over to the Church on the 23rd April 2016.

Ithala Development Finance Corporation Ltd - Ezakheni Re-roofing Project Value: R8,80 Million


ROLE: CIVIL ENGINEERS & PRINCIPAL AGENTS


The project involves structural repairs to the brick walls and re-roofing to sites E327 & E330 at Ezakheni Industrial Estate. Projects were put on hold prior to tender stage pending budget approvals. BP Projects is the Lead Partner in Bhadama JV with Fivestar Projects.

Prasa Cres – Work Place Improvement Programme
Programme Value: R110 Million


ROLE: PROJECT MANAGERS IN INDONSA CONSORTIUM


The programme entails major upgrades and facelift to 8 Prasa Depots namely; Cato Ridge Trains Depot, Durban Perway, SPPM & REAM Offices, Centre of Technology, New Facilities & Stores, Clairwood Signals Depot, Springfield SCM Stores and Durban Wellness Centre Development – Construction Stage.

Independent Development Trust - Upgrades & Additions Programme: Phase 7
Programme Value: R134 Million


ROLE: PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS


The programme entails Upgrades and Additions to 3 schools viz.; Mzwilili JPS (R55M), Meadowsweet Combined (R48M) and Nkaseni PS (R31M). Mzwilili JPS
is at 70% completion and the other two schools are ready for tender stage.

Transnet Foundation – Construction of Multipurpose Courts in two KZN Schools
Programme Value: R1,10 Million


ROLE: PROJECT MANAGERS & CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS


This Turnkey Development involves construction of two Multipurpose Courts for Basketball, Volley Ball and Netball to the Federation Standards. Projects are at Ubizo Primary near Empangeni and Mzingazi Primary near R/Bay. Scope of work also includes six Enviro Loo Toilets – three in each school.

Development Bank Of Southern Africa: KZN Schools Rehabilitation - Phase 15
Estimated Value: R103 Million


ROLE: PROJECT MANAGERS & PRINCIPAL AGENTS


The project involves storm damage repairs to 30 schools for the KZN Dept. Education for UMzinyathi Education District. Site Assessments and Detailed Cost Estimates were completed in March 2016. The Implementing Agent
(DBSA), is awaiting budget approval to proceed to tender stage.
